You will find that the Caster Board Ripstik version is available for around $99 to $129 and comes in a variety of different colors. The makers of this new kind of board are claiming that it is able to provide the person using it with the same kind of sensations that they would feel when either snowboarding or skateboarding because of its unique 2 wheeled design.

Well, Caster Board Ripstik do come in different sizes and weights. Caster boards come in mini versions and regular sized versions. There are Caster boards that are heavier than others. You may want to try a few Caster boards out at your local sporting shop before deciding which one you want to buy. I have a niece that is seven years old and she has both a regular Ripstik and Exboard. The Ripstik is smaller and lighter, while the Exboard is longer and has a heavier feel to it. My niece really has no problem using both of these Caster boards, and I should add that she is quite tiny for a seven year old. I have not come across a brand of Razor Ripstik that was too big or too little for my niece, or for me also, for that fact. I guess the deciding factor is all about preference rather than necessity.

So much fun! by S. Baker.
My sons and daughter ages 9,12,17 and 20 all have these and they LOVE them. They have so much fun using them. We frequently take short trips to the nearby Disney Resorts for vacation and they always take their Razor Ripstik  along to ride there. Everyone they pass wants to know what they are and where they can buy them and comment on how cool they are. Razor Caster Board are very popular with the kids here in Florida but apparently haven’t made their way to some places up North yet,but I’m sure they will! One word of warning-they are difficult to ride at first, but don’t give up because you will catch on if you practice a little. My 9 year old couldn’t even stand up at first but now she’s a pro at it.

Best gift by L. Starnes.
This Risptik Caster Board was recommended to me, and my child tried our her cousin’s. Since she’s gotten one, she has enjoyed mastering the riding and is now working on some tricks. It takes great coordination, so consider that carefully if getting it for a younger child. For my 10-year old, it has gotten her out of the house and really working on a skill level all her own. Make sure you have elbow pads, helmet, gloves and knee pads – especially when your child is just learning. It’s also fun to watch – especially when she was at a party and was manouevering in and out of the tables and chairs.

Young at heart by Mr. Scifi.
I brought the Ripstik Caster Board today 11/19/08 and I must say that this thing is great. I’m 42 and love the outdoors like biking kayaking etc… When I first saw this thing I said you got to be kidding me how do you ride this thing. I was looking for something to exersice with around the house besides my trailbike. I looked and looked at different types of equipment I even got a stationary bike but it is just not what I wanted. I was going to get the Trikke but the cost is too much and very hard to ride. Then I looked at the Ripstick again and said, “hmmm I wonder if I could really ride this thing”. I looked up how to ride Caster Board Ripstik on youtube and said MY GOSH this thing is easy to ride. I got up early this morning and let me tell you it is a blast to ride I think it is easier than a skateboard. For you old school just remember the song The Twist and you will be riding in no time. Even though it says on the warning that the max weight is 220lbs, let’s just say that I got a extra 35lbs that I need to loose lol but it handles great. I even taught my son and he wants one now. Heck I might even make a video on how to ride it for beginners. Well I say if you thought about it, get it you will like Ripstik Caster Board maybe even love it once you get the hang of it.
